is your choice. i vote for a 2bbl carb on a cast iron intake manifold with a split exhaust manifold handling the outflow. get the right cam and springs, add an electronic dist (your choice of sytem) and you will have a nice smooth running engine. i had problems with 2 1bbl carbs on a stock 230. couldn't get it to run right. i am gathering parts for a rebuild / build of my ideal engine.
