But the way I see it, anybody making 20K, and over 100 sales, IS in business, not a hobby.

And I think it's eBay sales, not PayPal transfers? Or is it both? No, eBay doesn't know about cash, so no 1099 from, them? Paypal does handle the payment, so is 1099 valid?

Then, then too, the total is not taxable, only the net profits. So bookkeeping is in order. Gas, parts, material, paint, glue, needles, ... gee, all said and done, I won't net enough to have to bother filing, umm think it's $4500/year?
