Two weeks ago, I drove my M-37 50 miles to a nearby town and back for a parade. It ran fine, as it always has.

I parked it in front of my pole barn, but then moved it a few hours later to a different location. When i wanted to move it again, it started briefly, then quit. Since the gas guage has been a little unreliable, I poured 5 gallons of gas in the tank. No amount of cranking, choke settings etc started it.

I disconnected the gas filter from the fuel line. Cranking does not deliver any fuel. The oil does not appear to have an gas in it which I guess you'd expect if the pump just failed.

I have a spare fuel pump and can change it out, but is there any other place I should look first...other filters etc?
