I had a guy at a mill cut green (red oak )log 7"H X 9"D X 6' Traced the pattern I wanted and the local lumber yard cut it on big band saw....routed out the back a little to hide mounting....sealed it right away with polyurathane.....stayed perfect over 30 years..... have twisted a little last few.... getting ready to make new set.... I really want to put my winch back on..... but only if I can get the look I want on the bumper....if not, more of the same...
The back I had the factory steel to use for pattern......
many people have check those out over the years......first ? they'd ask....how'd you make those???
make a set...you'll like them
