thank you very much for the responses. i have decoded the vin, however i have an additional question. with the vin beginning with "d" could that be a factory 4x4? in looking at the decoding site suggested by steve, the "w" does not appera in the front of the vin until the 72 model year. there is no "w" available in the 70 model year. thanks again for the help.
