I pulled in first low. I don't know what engine you have, but traction isn't an issue. I was going to block the rear axle & put weights on the front end, glad I didn't waste my time with it. I did air the tires down to about 18 psi tho. Wished i'd have taken time to tune it up. If you have a governor i'd bypass it if you can. I was running about 3200 early on & went to 35/3600 before it startede pulling hard. Roy
