Our town's parade of the summer is called Progress Days and was held last Saturday. I drove my 61 WM300 in it this year as part of the Kenai Peninsula College entry that also included the college's training ambulance for our EMT programs, and students and staff walking. My passenger was the founding college director when it was started in 1964. I've been the director for the last 10 years.
Great day for a parade with sun and temps in the mid-60s. After the parade there was a non-judged classic car show with about 50 entries including mine. Great day to honor the 81-year old man that started our college and who I count as a mentor and friend.
