Greed.
We all want to earn more money for the work we do. We also want to keep more of that money by paying less for what we buy. Some of the ways to accomplish that is to buy from companies who pay their workers less so they can keep the cost of the product lower, and to buy from companies who produce a poorer quality and naturally less expensive product.
Red China is currently fullfilling both of those desires.
