paul is correct on all points and has done both conversions. if you are short money now, do the gas conversion, use the helitool kit. when the time comes to go diesel, sell the helitool setup complete as a 'battlefield insert' to the next guy. If you sell the engine trans and brackets as an assembled proven unit, you will find ready buyers. the helitool kit does no harm to your frame or truck, so a diesel swap can come later.
