Moraine Fuel filter

Last week I had my carb rebuilt and I re-installed my original manifold assembly that I had ceramic coated.

The carb man said he did clean the filter element, but he would not suggest using it. Does anyone know where to get the round brass like insert on this Moraine pancake filter?

I've done a few searches and have not come up with much.
