As many know, I am on dial up with a 24.4K connection speed. There is no cell service in the mountains. Satellite is not possible due to the dense forest. Its rough on dial up.

The village has applied for a Federal Grant to run Fiber Optic up my road and another road very remote. If all goes well, this time next year or sooner I will have fiber and finally high speed. The grant will cover running the fiber, drops to houses etc.

But for now, 24.4K is better than nothing.
