Does it make a difference whether the winch cable runs over the top, or bottom of the spool? My son won a winch in a raffel this weekend, and they told him to reel the cable out all the way, and spool it back in over the top. I didn't think it mattered, as long as there were enough winds left on the spool to be safe, and to maintain the strength of the cable. Just askin'. JET
