Often not an easy job. It depends wher it broke. Hopefully it did not break off flush. I hate easy outs I seem to break them. Heat and wax like Paul in NY uses is a good way. You can center punch and drill with a left handed drill and that will often work. You need to be sure that you ate centered and drill straight. Not an easy task.

Use anti seize when putting it back together. I just did an exhaust manifold a year ago and broke a bolt. I was lucky it was not flush. The best way to prevent broken bolts is to use an air impact wrench on a low setting and rattle it. Obviously match wrench size and power to the bolt. Ore soah or use wax prior to wrenching. I have found that I break almost no bolts with an impact. This is especially true fore longer bolts passing through a manifold or water neck and etc.
