it may be the salt , it may be the smell but we have seen smashed chaises that were stashed in the woods that a bear had gotten hold of . Ditto with gas and oil . Gotta lock em up in a metal container .
they like to eat tagging tape too . Flagged a trail and next week all the tape was chewed off , found some in their skat ....
