I have a bunch of LED emitters, look like LED backup lamps manufactured by Grote. They were originally destined for use in solar power streetlights near Buffalo.
Oddly there isn't much sun in Buffalo in winter, but the brilliant engineers from Johnson Controls forgot to factor that in. Oddly the project was scrapped, and components sold for a lot less than original cost.

Unfortunately they operate from 43 volts DC, and I only have a limited number of the ballasts that convert 12 volt DC to 43 volt DC. Each ballast operates up to 4 emitters.

If you need to go to 120 volt AC operation ebay has a boatload of LED bulbs for sale. Just make sure you don't buy 240 volt 50hz bulbs.
