Rad. overflow tank question.

After a long slow drive in the Merrimack, NH parade yesterday the WM300 had a bit of an accident on the tarmac. There is a hard line on the pass. side of the rad. with a male threaded fitting on the end about 1/2-2/3rds of the way down the side of the rad. Does this indicate that there was a factory overflow tank? Just how rare are they to find? Has anyone else come up with an appropriate replacement or have one they would like to part with.
