I agree. I have Chrome, but the only WEB site I use in it faceBook and an Interactive Weather Radar. I ran everything else in FF so there wan't any cross tab spying. I have a couple of Gmail accounts and my old Youtube account (boy did gOOgle screw that service up), and used FF for them rather than chrome.

Now I've gotten gOOgle out of FF, and I guess will keep Opera for accessing those sites only. That way there isn't any more issues with gOOgle causing any FF auto-log-in issues like I was encountering.

I'll take a look at TOR, sounds like a nice alternative. I run a few anti-tracking and anti commercial add blockers to help FF, but am always concerned about what data is passing behind the curtains.

Ah, so that's what happened to the cache in the searches, I was wondering why I wasn't seeing them.
