A friend of mine used to fly C-119 and PB4YU slurry bombers, mostly in Alaska when he was much younger. So, I have a smoke jumpers yellow shirt. He was supposed to evacuate once up in Conifer. I was going to go up in the PWTW to haul out stuff, but they closed the area. Almost scary. Gar

Here is the C-119 with a jet engine off a P2V Neptune on the roof, to get off the ground or out of a box canyon!! Hawkins and Powers Aviation.
