My '53 FFPW supposedly had a PTO-driven trailer, and I got this from the guy who's friend bought it new and later owned it himself. No photos, but the remains of rear pto pillow block bearings are evident on cross members. Doesn't seem heavy-duty enough, but I'm sure it is possible. The old dude said he lost track of what happened to the trailer. He remembered that back in the '60s when the FS roads were mostly just dust or mud and he used to hunt, he would routinely pull Jeeps and other 4wd vehicles out of the mud along his way. THAT I believe. He said the PW was superior because it has a longer wheel base.
