Not difficult underneath - I had to do it that way because knees and back stop me doing it other ways. I used the tire winch off a larger jap truck and modified the lift plate to suit the PW wheel. With the wheel flat on the ground, wind it all the way down and poke the plate in place, then wind it up. Hardest job is dragging it out when you need to use it, but I always have a horse lead rope with me, so clip it in a stud hole and slide it out - haven't buggered my back doing it this way - yet.
