I have an oliver crawler (HG42) tracked machine. Same type carb.

I get intermitent fuel issues. Always thought it was the carb. Lately I see that the original style glass bowl is not topping off, meaning the carb is getting starved for fuel.

Weird. Its an original fuel bowl and setup too.. Just that the design is such that if the bowl aint 100% full, or near so, the fuel level will not reach the fuel line going to the carb.

Check and see if the level of fuel in the bowl actually reaches the fuel line to the carb.

it COULD be your problem..

Screen may be clogged, causing this issue.

Also, if you didnt already know, there is a company in PENN state that have Oliver parts.

Zimmermans.

I also see lots of marvel updraft carbs on Ebay for sale.

Do a search using "CLETRAC" and many will come up. Rebuilt
