To my knowledge, Bendix Weiss Joints were never OEM on PW's. However the fit between Bendix Weiss or Tracta in WC/M37/PW is transparent. They are a direct plug n play replacement.

No, my Knuckle Rebuild album does not show Bendix Weiss. When I did the Album, I had not yet found a set of Bendix Weiss. So I initially had Tractas installed. However, since they are a direct replacement, everything seen in the Knuckle rebuild album
pertains to either Tracta or Bendix Weiss.
Bendix Weiss use 4 steel balls and is considered a true constant angular velocity Joint. Another joint little seen, but used on some WC's is the Rzeppa which uses 6 balls.
THe Rzeppa was designed and developed at Ford in 1928. I have never had eyes on nor held a Rzeppa Joint, they are quite rare.

Here is alink I had saved a long time ago. Its a good read on Joints
