You realize the quoted ratings are on an engine dyno, no generator, electric water pump. No drive train losses.

IIRC, my first dyno run 37 years ago was 45hp. I think drive train losses are %, but water pump = x hp, gen = y hp, fan= z hp. So tahy would take a larger % of a smaller engine, like 90 hp, than of a V8 with 350.

Oh. this is a crash box truck. I've always heard the straight cut gears are more efficient, but noisy. Can't wait for the NP420 truck to get up and running- some day.
