Initially, you can jam a piece of hose onto the brass vent pipe inside the choke, and pour it full of gas, Just a 1/4 cup. Use some kind of cup or can, and a little funnel NOT the gas can. Any that misses will merely prime the intake. It should fir and run for a few seconds. Go ahead, do that several times with a big grin on your face. Then try the syphon hose form gas can to fuel pump in addition, Might take a few tries before running for ever, Or the pump is shot, probably is. If so, disconnect eh line from pump to carb, hang the can up high, start a syphon (don't inhale ANY gas, bad for lungs) and hook the gravity fed fuel system to the carb line. Prepare to kill all the mosquito for miles around with that 4 gallons of mystery oil you filled the exhaust system with.
Oh, its also time to remove the drain plug low on the intake and let out all the mystery oil you can. Much in there will hydraulic the cylinders, wrecking the engine.
I only use clear vinyl for syphon hose, That way I can see when I'm about to suck in a lung full. Nasty stuff, the smell stays in you nose for weeks.
