Actually, with the purchase of the truck I also received another set of axles which the seller claimed have the 4.89 gears. I wasn't sure I was going to do the swap but it looks like I'll be going forward with it now. Does anyone know if there is an easy way to tell with unmounted axles what the gear ratio is?
