I have a 97 4x4 that gets 22-25mpg. I turned up the engine quite a bit so it is hard to not step on the skinny peddle. If I obey the speed limits and stay under 70 mid 20's is easy. Letting the z's and civics beat me off the line is not that easy, I always love the look on there faces when they see a 97 work truck smoke them.
