See I wonder what a 2wd regular cab truck could really get. Maybe a bed cover and some adjustments to the engine. A lot of the cars these days are getting 25-35mpg with most in the 28-30mpg range.

Would a 1st gen be better or would the 2nd gen have better aerodynamics and help squeek out some more MPG.
