You make some good points. I don't live anywhere near there so I don't have any say or benefit from it. The Council broke the law by not following state law in enacting an ordnance that the people did not want. It boils down to government large or small doing what they want to do and taking away our rights and in essence giving the Constitution the middle finger. Just like they are trying to get our old rigs off the road so yes I think that it is some what on topic.
Just my opinion nothing more nothing less. I agree let Joe decide it is his forum and a great one at that.
