A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Jen and the entire crew AND extended staff at Vintage who worked to put on the best Rally yet (that I've attended). I also want to give a big thanks to all those who volunteered and helped!
I arrived early and the week went by even faster than before, but that was because we were having a great time and enjoying everything.
The meals at Vintage were great (I especially liked the Polish Sausages), the Iowa Pork Chop was fabulous as always (just needed some bread to go with it) and the banquet dinner was delicious.
It was my first truck pull, and I was thrilled to participate and not break (well except for some clutch damage) and can't wait to do it again. I think working the old trucks might even more fun that mudding or rock crawling.
I'd like to see an added activity, but perhaps after the truck pull not before. I'd like to see the old trucks run on a dyno. I'd exclude the diesel trucks as it might require a more expensive dyno setup, but it would be great to see how many of those whopping 74 ponies make it to the ground.
Again a BIG THANK YOU to everyone and it was a great event and great to see and chat with everyone.
