The gooseneck pulls so nice...as Paul in New York says, it tracks like a rat in a pipe!
I used to do all bumper pulls, but like the way the gooseneck tracks and how I can turn over 90 degrees in a tight parking spot...impossible in a bumper pull.
But, as Mike F says, in the event of a breakdown less people have the gooseneck hitch in their truck.
I have the gooseneck hitch where I can pull the ball for a flat floor like Doug says, but also have a Class 5 receiver hitch in the back.
