The surface that is damaged is the seal surface, your bearing surface is fine. This seal prevents differential lube from migrating into the Tracta joint housing, something that can basically only happen when the rig is at a pretty severe sidehill angle. You can't use a speedy sleeve here, as it will interfere with the bearing surface next to it (change the OD so that it won't fit through the bronze bushing, plus the sleeve would shortly tear apart and ruin everything!) This leakage, if it happened, would not be a real problem. I'd just polish the surface with emory, and install a new leather seal, as it will standup to any remaining roughness better than a nitrile seal. You could grind a few thousands off of the seal area (NOT THE BEARING AREA!)and check the ID tolerances on the seal, which would probably still seal just fine. Good luck! Rob
