I guess I agree that there aren't enough of us to make a special section. Besides, we sometimes get good info from non-500 types. If we were in a separate section, they might not see our posts and quetions.
The standard axle ratio os 6.80.
My 500 cruises at 60 at around 2750 RPM with 9.00 tires and the 540 OD trans. That trans has a ration of .72 in OD if I my memory serves. If you got a 4.88 axle, you'd have approximately the same result.
I think Chris Wilsey is running 10.00x20's. He told me he had to add a spacer for the rear wheels to prevent rubbing. My tires are about 41". I don't know the diameter of the 10.00's but it would have to help.
