Hello David, There were different filler necks, just as there were different bed styles. 1st series bed (1946-1951) used the filler neck with the flange and three holes (in flange). As far as I know the filler necks for the rest of the one ton WM style PW's (series 2 & series 3) were all the same, ie no flange, just a curver filler neck that was held in place by a rather large thick grommet that fit in the hole in the bed side.
