Dan, Definitely go with the M37. I agree with the comments earlier about go for the comfort. I use mine as a daily driver and it's a blast. I have added a few creature comforts to mine and it is well worth it, if your not focused on maintaining original equipment. I get 65 MPH out of mine. I replaced the 5.83s with 4.89s, standard 9.00 x 16 NDT, lockout hubs, Detroit Deisel 353, power steering (a must), air conditioning, heat, tilt, insulated/carpeted cab, hard top, bucket seats, etc. It's especially a blast in the warm weather when I take the hard top off - quiter too! I've got a 4 speed manual but an overdrive would really make it nice. I love everything about the truck, but noise is the main complaint. You get used to it though. Good luck!
