Tim: I used the bronze cone bearings for my rebuild. I did the 24 odd foot pounds of drag as the book says. The result is more drag when turning than I'd like. I figured it would loosen up a bit with use, but after 5 years it's still there. I will someday add a shim to it to loosen it up. Using dual rollers will be nice but the bronze bush premise is to help as a damper to minimize or eliminate the "tank slapper" oscillations when spinning the fronts in 4wd.

If I was to go through it again, I'd probably do the dual rollers.
