Fuel line

Trying to get the FFPW ready for the Iowa Rally and noticed a minor fuel leak in the line. Prior to this the truck started fine. Replaced the line from the tank to the fuel pump. Tried to start the truck last night and nothing. So I used a vaccumm pump to bring fuel to the pump and put fuel into the bowl. Tried to start the truck again still won't start, so I put fuel into the line from the carb to the fuel pump still won't start....I'm stumped any idea what I should do next??
