Fuel.

I have what I thought is a vapor lock problem with fuel system on my 57FF. I have the fender off the truck and can get a better look at the fuel pump and lines. I have a clear fuel filter before the pump. When I have the motor running I see a air bubble pop up in to that clear fuel filter. When I run the truck at a very fast rpm. The air bubbles pick up in speed. So I'm assuming that that is not right? Also is the fuel filter supposed to have some air left in it when running? Where is it best to place for the fuel filter before or after the fuel pump?

I'm going to check the fuel line for leaks.
I'm going to rework the line going to the carburetor. It still gets very hot from the exhaust manifold.
