I went to the Seattle Swap Meet this Saturday. The wife came along. The first booth we stopped at had a DODGE truck tail light lens with the curved DODGE script in it. It was in great shape and still has white paint in the script. I have only seen 1 before this one. We walked away as it was still early in the day. Then we ran across a 41 or 42 Chev 1/2 Military Panel truck. It was a little rough but had spare parts. It is very similar to the 1/2 Chev Carryall my wife found in Oregon a few years back. I will see if I can post pictures of both trucks.
When we were leaving I sent my wife back to get the tail light lens. She had X dollars and I waited outside. She walked out a few minutes later. She offered X $ for it and he said he wanted $5 more than that. She said I have 4 additional quarters and that is all. She handed me the lens. It has no chips or scratches. We may have paid a little too much but at times you got to snag on to those rare items. It was not a whole lot more than the glass aftermarket ones without the script and we found 5 vendor with those in stock.
