how hot does a 12v coil get in regular use powering the ignition on a 230? I let my command car idle tonight for about 20 minutes and when i pulled away from the curb, the truck died. plenty of juice to crank forever, fuel pump and engine not hot, just hot coil. did not burn my hand, but was hotter than i expected. i let everything cool down a few minutes and then i fired up OK. my coil is a repro autolite unit.
