They sell one for pets and the only difference is it has a guard to keep the dust from flying back at the operator. I only turn it on about half as fast as it will run as he doesn't like the sound like you say, and it cuts good at medium speed. The Quick it the vain inside the toenail and you can sand to about a 1/8 of it and it never bleeds. Now that I got it down I cut them once a month. The key is tricking him into the garage so he can't run off :o)
