I actually had no real problems here in Kaliphornya with two seperate trucks that hadn't been registered in nearly 30 years, and neither came with a title or 'pink slip' as it is often known. That seems to be uncommon, as this topic has been visited here recently with others giving their two cents about how it is where they live. It seems every state is different. If you are in California, I can give you how it went for me, but anywhere else I can't speak for.
