I was a young engineer at Dodge Truck in the early and mid '70's. We built about two per day tilt cab units, and 10-11 per day of the LCF (short conventional) units (with the swing out fenders)at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant #2 at Sherwood and 9 mile Road in Warren Michigan. Both units were discontinued about 1976 because of regulatory changes that made it unprofitable at the low volume of production. (The building was sold and converted to bottling juices.) The headlight units were used on a number of Dodge vehicles including motor home chassis units. Pigeon Mfg in Pigeon, MI made the aluminum tilt cab for Dodge.
