Finally got the lights working. As suggested by many, we checked the grounds, traced the power from the switch to the socket and all seemed in order. So pulled the housing. There was a very tiny spot of corrosion on the contact area so brushed that up and applied some dielectric grease, put the bulbs back in and they lit. Never would have thought such a minuscule spot would have been the problem.
Now onto trying to figure out why the horn isn't working. As I've said before, for a mostly "restored" truck I'm sure restoring and fixing a bunch of stuff, but that's good as I get to know the truck like I should.
