Some of them draw a lot of current, especially at 6 volts. You can still use your horn button and toggle switch, just put the relay after both of them, maybe in the engine compartment. It'll save wearing out the switches, and you can use thinner wire behind the dash. Most modern vehicles use a relay for the horn even.
