When I did mine I had to take the channel under the vent window off first, the one the roll up window comes down in. Once that is off roll the window all the way down, and slide the window off the regulator. Once the window is off the track, you can remove the regulator. Then unscrew the vent frame, and tilt the frame towards the door latch and take it out.
