horse trailers (with horses) are a different
cookie to tow as they move about and one has
to be very careful on stopping / starting &
turns so they do not loose their footing
as far as tow capacity for trailers
our 48 has over 400,000 miles 5.83s, 900-16s,
and a 230 (rebuilt many times)
the first owner (we are the second) Norm towed his 30 ft house trailer all over the US
and as far north as Dutch Harbor.
we bought it in 2000 so Norm had it for 50 years or so
