A true disconnect switch will prevent anything in the vehicle from drawing down the battery. Batteries on their own will slowly loose their charge, but 30 days on a good battery is no problem. On modern vehicles there are a few electronic items always drawing power, and when you install a disconnect switch on them you have to leave them powered through a separate connection.
