The gas hardens it up. Worked with old time gas anyhow, for fixing small holes.
I wonder if the new sealer works for gas- the form-a-gasket poly somethn-er-other? It's the only stuff I ever used that really sealed a tranny pan from ATF. But I don't recall ever tying Yammy-bond. I wonder of Yamaha still sells that?
