If you can't put your personal problems aside and slap on the "I'm a business man" face, then that person has absolutely no right to take someone elses hard earned money and make promises that can't be fullfilled.
I've been self employed dang near all my life. I didn't make it this far because people felt sorry for me because of my personal issues.
I am successful because I work hard, don't make promises I cannot keep, provide the absolute best service that I can and have the attitude that business is business.
I hoping the person of question learns to man up. If not, it's time to get out of Dodge.
