In my infinite wisdom, I decided that an adjustment to the pushrod from the brake pedal to the master cylinder was needed...actually, NOT a good idea. Doing so seems to have caused my brakes to remain applied to a great degree.

I have perused the Archive for commentary on brake problems, et. al. but I have yet to find the process for re-setting the correct distance on the pushrod.

I now know this operation regulates the vent/piston relationship for fluid to be allowed to gradually return to the master cylinder after a brake application, but how do I re-set this once I have disturbed it?

How do I see if the rubber cup is blocking the vent or not? Or, is there a standard measurement?
